Snowshoeing and skiing

TAKE THE TIME TO...
Whizz down the slopes before warming up around a fire

Baie-Comeau is recognized as one of snowiest cities in Canada. Therefore, we take advantage of this endless white carpet to enjoy some winter sports: whether it’s at the local ski centre or one of the city’s numerous trails. You’ll have hours of fun!

Alpine Skiing and Tubing

Alpine skiing is a great way to enjoy Quebec’s winters.  Whizz down the slopes with friends and family and then relax at the chalet with a steaming cup of hot chocolate.  This never gets old!

Mont Ti-Basse Ski Centre (Marquette sector)

Enjoy the pleasures of winter at Mont Ti-Basse, less than 15 minutes from downtown Baie-Comeau. Sixteen slopes are available, including 5 glades, 1 slalom course, and 2 sliding areas. It is the perfect place for ski and snowboard enthusiasts.

You can also bring your snowshoes and enjoy the 15 kilometres of groomed trails. The ski chalet is equipped with a central fireplace and offers many services: restaurant-bar, boutique, equipment rental, ski and snowboard lessons for kids and beginners, and much more! It is the perfect place for spring skiing, even for those who don’t ski and prefer to relax under the sun on the special sun deck.

Tubing Slope

The tubing slope is available to everyone 4 years and older. It’s the perfect place to enjoy family time and to eat a good poutine at the chalet's restaurant! The perfect day!
