Being passionate about history, historical and religious heritage, one of my favorite places in Baie-Comeau is still the Ste-Amélie Church, the work of Italian artist Guido Nincheri. Built between 1937 and 1939, this magnificent Church is adorned with priceless frescoes and stained glass windows. Moreover, this church has 5 times more frescoes than the Sistine Chapel! Although it is no longer an active place of worship today, this place classified as Cultural Heritage of Quebec is really worth visiting by anyone passing through our beautiful city!
