When you think of Baie-Comeau, spruce trees definitely come to mind. The ones in the boreal forest are perfect to stop and admire the stars free of light pollution. So, where do we camp?
Camping Boréal
With its mountainous landscape bordering the river, it is easy to fall in love with Camping Boréal and its warm welcome! The site offers 82 spaces with services for tents, motorhomes, and trailers. If needed, you can even rent one (be sure to book in advance)! There’s no shortage of things to do: restaurant, convenience store, pool, water slide, drive-in theatre, and more! You can also rend a pedal boat, canoe, or kayak to have fun in the river. The campground is usually open from mid-May to the end of September.

Camping Lac Malfait
This recreational tourism resort offers many services and activities for the whole family. There are camping sites with or without services available. You can enjoy the beach and practise all types of water sports. A launching ramp and a marina round out the available infrastructure.

Craving to do something outdoors? Attitude Nordique offers various outdoor training courses: forest survival, maps and compasses, first-aid in remote areas, and hikes lasting several days hikes during which wilderness camping is part of the adventure.
